When you contact one of our offices to rent, purchase or lease a vehicle, we must collect certain personal information from you. We only collect information that is essential for us to provide our service to you. The information that we typically collect from our customers includes:
Home and or business Address
Contact Phone Number(s)
Date of Birth
Method of payment (Credit card – Account number and Expiration date)
Drivers License Number and Province or Country of Issuance
Any other Information Required to Facilitate the Transaction (e.g. insurance policy etc.)
In the instance of a cash only transaction or a sale of a vehicle, we may require additional information such as:
Home Owner Information (e.g. rent or own)
Personal Vehicle Information (e.g. license number, VIN and description)
Banking Contact Information
Employment Contact Information
Other Information as Required or Requested by Finance Sources for Sales
PURPOSES OF COLLECTION
The personal information we collect from you will only be used for reasonable purposes and, subject to limited statutory exceptions; you will be notified of those purposes before the information is collected. Typically, the purposes for which we collect personal information from our customers include:
Confirming an individual’s identity
Contacting the individuals that have provided their personal information
Providing the services that have been requested
Administering the customer’s rental or purchase
Researching, developing, managing, protecting and improving our services
Conducting customer satisfaction surveys
Maintaining and developing our software and other business systems

We have put in place a retention schedule based on our legal and accounting practices that limit the length of time we will keep the personal information you have provided to us. At the end of the relevant period, we will dispose of your personal information in a secure manner.
